Vibe Analytics A Vibe Analytics technology

The technology behind Vibe, available for your use case.

Vibe EQ is our emotional measurement technology. It measures how humans feel in real time from any device with a camera. If you have a use case that needs emotional intelligence, we want to hear it.

What it is

Real-time emotional measurement. From any device with a camera.

Vibe EQ is the emotional measurement engine underneath all of our products. It captures valence and arousal continuously — the positivity or negativity of emotional state, and the intensity of that state — without surveys, without asking the person anything, and without specialized hardware.

Every Vibe product you've seen is built on this foundation. Vibe EQ makes that foundation available directly for organizations with use cases that need it.

This isn't a product you install. It's a capability we develop through partnerships with organizations that have compelling problems to solve.

Continuous, not episodic
Traditional research asks people how they felt after the fact. Vibe EQ captures emotional state second by second as it happens — no reconstruction, no claimed recall, no asking.
Device-agnostic
Works wherever there is a camera. Mobile phones, laptop webcams, tablets, kiosks, in-vehicle displays, research environments. The technology adapts to the context rather than requiring the context to come to a lab.
Two core signals
Valence tells you whether the person is in a positive or negative emotional state. Arousal tells you how activated or calm they are. Together they map the emotional landscape of any experience, in real time.
Where it can work

The technology travels with the use case.

Vibe EQ doesn't require a controlled environment. Here are three areas where organizations are exploring what becomes possible when you can measure how people feel in real time.

🔬
Consumer & Market Research
Research that relies on surveys and focus groups captures what people say they felt — not what they actually felt. Vibe EQ replaces claimed recall with continuous measured emotional response, in any research context from product testing to experience evaluation.
What this enables: Research that reflects genuine human response rather than post-hoc rationalization. Findings that don't depend on the accuracy of self-report.
⚙️
Platform & Product Integration
If you're building a platform — content, training, entertainment, media — understanding how users feel as they engage is a capability that most teams spend years trying to build. Vibe EQ makes that measurement layer available without the R&D investment.
What this enables: Platforms that respond to emotional state, content systems that understand engagement at a deeper level than clicks and time-on-page.
🌍
Physical Environments & Experiences
Some of the most interesting use cases exist outside of screens entirely — retail spaces, hospitality environments, exhibitions, live events, or any physical context where the question "how is this person feeling right now?" has real value and no current answer.
What this enables: Real-time emotional data from real-world contexts that traditional research methods can't capture in the moment.
How it works

The mechanics, plainly stated.

Vibe EQ works by analyzing facial expressions captured through any standard camera. Here's what's happening under the surface.

01
Camera input
Any standard camera on any device — phone, laptop, tablet, kiosk, custom hardware. No specialized equipment required. The person doesn't need to do anything differently than they normally would.
02
Continuous measurement
Vibe EQ captures facial expression data and translates it into valence and arousal readings in real time, second by second. The measurement is continuous — not sampled at intervals, not triggered by events.
03
Flexible output
Data is delivered in whatever format fits your use case — structured reports, dashboards, raw data streams, or integrated directly into your platform. We scope the output format as part of the partnership.
💡

A note on privacy: Vibe EQ is designed to measure emotional state without identifying individuals. No facial recognition. No biometric identity data. The measurement is of emotional state, not of the person experiencing it. Data handling is scoped and agreed as part of every partnership.

Who this is for

Two kinds of organizations find Vibe EQ compelling.

Innovation & R&D Teams

You have a hypothesis about human experience that you can't currently measure.

Your team is exploring the intersection of human emotion and technology. You have a research question, a product experiment, or an experience you want to understand at a deeper level than existing tools allow. You need measurement infrastructure, not another survey platform.

Running UX or experience research that needs more than self-report
Testing how people respond to environments, products, or stimuli in real time
Looking for a measurement partner, not just a vendor
Platform & Product Builders

You know what you want to build. You don't want to spend years on the measurement layer.

Your product would be meaningfully better if it understood how users feel as they engage. You've thought about building this capability yourself — and decided that a decade of R&D isn't the right path. You want to integrate emotional intelligence, not invent it.

Building content, media, training, or entertainment platforms
Looking for a capability to embed, not a tool to use manually
Want to work directly with the team behind the technology
Work with us

The technology is built.
We're looking for the right use cases to apply it.

Vibe EQ is the same engine powering every Vibe product today. It's proven, it works, and it works on the devices your organization already uses. What we're offering isn't access to something experimental. It's access to something real, applied to your specific context.

Whether you want to integrate it into your platform, run studies in your environment, or develop something custom together — the conversation starts with your use case, not our product sheet. Tell us what you're trying to understand about how humans feel, and we'll tell you what's possible.
